About the role

We are seeking a Laboratory Assistant to support laboratory operations within an educational setting. The role involves ensuring safe, accurate, and consistent laboratory practices while collaborating with teachers, students, and school leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment in an educational or scientific environment.
• Follow established procedures, record observations, and support reliable experimental results.
• Apply quality control practices to maintain accurate and safe laboratory operations.
• Coordinate effectively with teachers, students, and school leadership.
• Manage inventory, documentation, and ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals and materials.

Required profile

• Strong laboratory skills with practical experience using laboratory equipment.
• Solid analytical abilities to follow procedures and record observations.
• Understanding of quality control practices.
• Effective communication skills for clear coordination and instruction following.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety standards, including safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and reliable inventory/documentation management.
• Bachelor's degree in a science‑related field.
