About the role

The Category Manager will drive growth of the assigned product range by identifying gaps, expanding the portfolio with vendors, and ensuring key items are available. The role works closely with internal teams and partners to continuously optimise product performance and overall category strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an annual growth strategy to strengthen market position and increase share for the Electronics category.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity and consumer demand.
• Create and evolve the category assortment matrix.
• Monitor sales, margins and turnover, and identify priority growth directions such as new brands, sub‑categories and customer segments.
• Define and track KPI’s (revenue, market share, conversion, average basket).
• Manage online showcase content, product descriptions, images and promotional activities.
• Coordinate with marketing, sales and logistics to implement the strategy.
• Provide regular performance reports and adjust the strategy based on data.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in category management, procurement or retail.
• Proven experience in pricing, promotions and vendor management.
• Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
