Junior Research Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a curious and responsible Junior Research Analyst to support international clients by turning market research into actionable insights. You will work across various industries, helping teams make data‑driven business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Research markets, industries and competitors to inform business decisions.
• Analyse customer needs, market trends and business models to spot growth opportunities.
• Compare competitor products, pricing, positioning and customer experiences.
• Collect and organise data from reports, websites, interviews and surveys.
• Support customer interviews and surveys, summarising key findings.
• Use Excel to analyse data and create clear charts and comparison tables.
• Contribute to business cases with basic cost, revenue and market opportunity estimates.
• Research potential partners, clients and new markets.
• Turn research findings into practical recommendations under senior guidance.
• Prepare reports, presentations and briefing materials for internal and client meetings.
• Present findings in team discussions and contribute ideas to ongoing projects.
• Maintain organised research files, source references and project documentation.

Required profile

• Strong analytical thinking and business curiosity.
• Proficiency in English; Russian is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of business strategy, marketing and financial concepts.
• Able to structure business questions and identify relevant information.
• Confidence using Excel, PowerPoint and online research tools.
• Ability to evaluate sources, interpret data and communicate clear conclusions.
• Effective use of AI tools for research while verifying outputs.
