HSE&C Advisor – Offshore Rotator

About the role

The HSE&C Advisor will rotate offshore to monitor contractors and ensure that all health, safety, security and environmental (HSSE) requirements of the client and contractors are fully met. You will work closely with the Construction Vessel Representative and Site Safety Leader to maintain a safe operating environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the CVR/SSL in implementing and maintaining client HSSE procedures across all contractors and suppliers.
• Verify that contractor reporting and recording comply with client HSSE standards.
• Facilitate two‑way communication on HSSE matters with employees and contractors.
• Review, prepare and update HSE documents, procedures and risk assessments.
• Ensure contractors execute work according to project procedures and complete self‑verification with client oversight.
• Manage Permit to Work systems in line with approved client processes.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, near‑misses and unsafe conditions, and drive corrective actions.
• Work 12‑hour days on a 14‑day offshore/on‑shore rotation schedule.

Required profile

• NEBOSH Diploma, HSSE Advisor/Tech SP or equivalent; HSSE Lead Auditor ISO 45001 preferred.
• Fluent in Azerbaijani and English.
• Valid BOSIET certification.
• Minimum 5 years HSSE experience with current knowledge of industry regulations.
• Previous offshore experience is mandatory.
• Familiarity with client Global Projects Organization HSSE processes is a plus.
