Head of Pricing & Competitiveness (Relocation to Baku)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Pricing & Competitiveness to build and lead a critical capability within our marketplace commercial organization. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will shape competitive positioning, pricing decisions, and scalable pricing solutions that drive conversion and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and continuously improve pricing intelligence and competitor monitoring capabilities.
• Define competitor landscape, product‑matching methodologies, and reporting standards.
• Identify pricing gaps, risks, and commercial opportunities and translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Own business requirements for pricing tools, develop seller‑facing solutions, and drive automation initiatives.
• Analyze the impact of pricing on GMV, conversion, and customer behavior, and measure effectiveness of pricing initiatives.
• Support marketplace economics by optimizing commission structures, fees, and monetization models.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Data Analytics or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in pricing, category management, marketplace operations, business analytics or revenue management.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience handling large datasets and turning insights into business actions.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with Commercial, Product, Finance and Technology teams.
• Fluent English and proficient Russian.
