Experienced Legal Consultant – Tax & Legal Department

About the role

PwC is seeking an Experienced Legal Consultant to join its Tax & Legal Department in Baku. You will provide comprehensive legal support to internal stakeholders and clients, ensuring compliance and mitigating legal risks across a range of civil law matters.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain productive relationships with clients, delivering high‑quality legal service.
• Research and analyse complex legal issues, preparing briefs for supervising lawyers.
• Review, summarise and suggest amendments to contracts and other legal documents.
• Conduct legislative and case‑law research and draft contracts, memoranda, reports and presentations.
• Prepare fee estimates, quotations and perform due‑diligence reviews.
• Provide legal advice on civil‑law matters and participate in client meetings.
• Assist the team with project tasks, contribute to technical knowledge development and stay updated on local and national business regulations.
