Data Engineer – Digital Systems Development

About the role

Rabitəbank ASC is seeking a Data Engineer to join its Digital Systems Development department, within the Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics division. The role focuses on building and optimizing data pipelines and platforms that support the bank’s analytical needs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise data models on Oracle DWH, ensuring high performance.
• Design, build, and manage ETL pipelines using Apache Airflow.
• Process and transform large datasets with PySpark and Python.
• Construct data platforms based on Lakehouse architecture.
• Write and optimise complex Oracle SQL queries.
• Automate operations with Linux scripting.
• Deploy and manage data engineering solutions using Docker containers.
• Collaborate with team members and business stakeholders using agile practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience with Oracle SQL and Oracle DWH architecture.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
• Practical experience building ETL pipelines with Apache Airflow.
• Ability to work independently on Linux‑based systems.
