Commercial Application Engineer – Proposal Specialist

About the role

Join Baker Hughes' commercial engineering team to create innovative, customized solutions for customers. You will evaluate client requirements, develop technically sound proposals, and manage associated technical risks.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyze customer RFQs and technical specifications.
• Develop technically compliant and competitive proposals.
• Assess and manage technical risks associated with proposed solutions.
• Support bid/no‑bid decisions and define the proposed solution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Mechanical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience as a Sales Engineer handling pricing, bids and tendering processes.
• Ability to work in complex situations and make decisions without clearly defined parameters.
• Fluent in Azerbaijani, English and Russian.
