Chief Concierge

About the role

A hotel belonging to the Accor network, which brings together more than 45 brands, 5,500 hotels and 10,000 restaurants and lifestyle destinations, is looking for a Chief Concierge in Baku. The role covers guest requests, coordination with hotel departments, scheduling and supervising bellmen and valet parking.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to guest requests for special arrangements or services and cooperate with hotel departments on internal requests
• Create and coordinate work schedules, assign posting positions and record luggage and valet requests
• Keep the driveway, lobby, entrance and baggage storage areas clean and presentable
• Organize and supervise the delivery and retrieval of luggage and the fast, efficient parking of cars during large events such as parties and weddings
• Distribute guest arrival and departure details to team members and supervise bellmen
• Guide and direct valet parking operations while ensuring the safety and security of all vehicles
• Inspect guest rooming standards, acquaint guests with their rooms and ensure equipment and supplies work properly
• Be present and working during peak periods and events, and conduct performance reviews

Required profile

• Ability to organize, manage and supervise staff
• Knowledge of all hotel facilities and cooperation within the team
• Preferred: experience in the same role in a 4-5 star hotel
