Backend Developer – API & Database Focus

About the role

We are looking for a Backend Developer who will design, build and maintain reliable, scalable systems that power dashboards, marketplaces and internal platforms. The role focuses on data integrity, performance and security in production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement backend architectures for production systems.
• Build and maintain APIs used by web and mobile applications.
• Work with relational databases, data models and business logic.
• Integrate authentication, authorization and access‑control mechanisms.
• Ensure system performance, reliability and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers and designers.
• Improve existing systems without disrupting production workflows.

Required profile

• Strong experience with at least one backend language such as Node.js, Python or Java.
• Solid understanding of API design (REST) and structured data flows.
• Experience with relational databases and data modeling.
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization and basic security principles.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable and well‑structured code.
• Understanding of system behavior in production environments.
