Associate Fullstack Developer (Back-End Focused)

About the role

We are looking for an Associate Full‑Stack Developer with a strong back‑end focus to join our R&D and Innovation Venture Studio in Baku. You will work on building scalable services and modern web applications that power our AI‑driven analytics and digital transformation ventures.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable back‑end services and RESTful APIs using C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Collaborate on React/Next.js (TypeScript) front‑end features and integrate them with back‑end APIs.
• Model data and work with SQL Server, including schema design, EF Core migrations, query optimisation and performance tuning.
• Implement authentication, authorization and role‑based access control with Microsoft Entra ID, JWT and OAuth2, including row‑level security.
• Build real‑time and collaborative functionality using SignalR hubs.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines, containerisation and Azure‑based deployment together with the DevOps team.
• Break down complex tasks, provide realistic estimates and flag risks early.
• Partner with project managers and domain experts to clarify requirements and propose efficient solutions.

Required profile

• At least 1.5 years of professional full‑stack development experience with a back‑end emphasis.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proven ability to own a system end‑to‑end – from design through operation.
• Comfortable working in an existing codebase and making architectural decisions with limited information.
