Assets Preservation & Mobile Equipment Engineer

About the role

The Assets Preservation & Mobile Equipment Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating and executing maintenance, overhaul and spare‑parts activities for mobile equipment on an offshore base. The role ensures equipment reliability, safety and compliance with corporate standards while supporting vessel operations in the area.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise personnel on the base, assigning maintenance tasks and prioritising work.
• Develop and maintain maintenance frequency schedules, preventive maintenance plans and overhaul programmes.
• Control spare‑parts inventory, set minimum/maximum stock levels and order parts for scheduled maintenance.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are recorded in the corporate Maintenance Management system.
• Oversee warehouse operations, asset storage, and certification of equipment.
• Coordinate logistics and marine support for vessels operating nearby.
• Monitor compliance with deadlines, cost targets, quality and HSE standards.

Required profile

• Higher education degree.
• Minimum 3 years of similar experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Fluent in English and Azerbaijani.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex maintenance projects.

Required skills

• Spare parts management and supply‑chain workflow (PR/PO, requisition, FAT/SAT).
• Warehouse management principles.
• Use of Maintenance Management tools (planned maintenance modules).
• Hydraulic maintenance and preventive maintenance techniques.
• Knowledge of hydraulic production system layout and emergency shutdown controls.
• Inventory control and asset tracking.
