About the role

The bank is looking for a System Administrator to lead the implementation of new software across its IT infrastructure. The role ensures servers and workstations run smoothly, software is properly installed, configured, and integrated, and that the overall network environment remains secure and reliable.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain server and workstation software, including automated installation systems.
• Manage logical network infrastructure, Active Directory, and user/group accounts.
• Administer core services such as WINS, DHCP, DNS, RAS, and RADIUS.
• Implement and oversee security policies, email/messaging services, antivirus and anti‑spam solutions.
• Set up remote access, backup and recovery processes, and ensure data protection.
• Monitor system performance, document configurations, and conduct preventive maintenance.
• Identify infrastructure weaknesses, respond to incidents, and log/analyse access events.

Required profile

• Adherence to bank policies and internal corporate regulations.
• Ability to collaborate with supervisors and resolve issues according to established procedures.
