Senior AI Product Owner / Business Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Senior AI Product Owner / Business Analyst to lead enterprise AI initiatives across finance, procurement, HR and legal departments for a major corporate client. You will drive generative AI solutions such as Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) and tool‑calling agents, as well as AI‑powered report generation and process automation.

Key responsibilities

• Define "done" for non‑deterministic AI systems by establishing measurable acceptance thresholds (e.g., accuracy on labelled data, groundedness, exact match on report totals).
• Serve as the single point of demand intake for nine corporate departments, coordinating priorities and sign‑off authority.

Required profile

• Based in Baku or willing to relocate.
• 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner, with at least 3 years in regulated financial services.
• Experience in at least two of the following domains: finance, procurement, HR, legal automation.
• Delivered at least one AI/ML or analytics product to production.
• Fluent in Azerbaijani and English.

Required skills

• User stories, Gherkin, BPMN 2.0.
• RAG, AI agents, LLM failure modes, evaluation metrics (RACIAI literacy).
• SQL and advanced Excel.
• SAP FI/CO and SAP SuccessFactors.
• Jira, Confluence, Camunda Modeler, Bizagi (or equivalent).
