SCADA/BOP Operator

About the role

The SCADA/BOP Operator provides centralized monitoring, control and maintenance support for wind power plants in the CIS region. Reporting to the Site Manager, the role ensures optimal generation, data integrity and safe operation of high‑voltage equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control plant operations via SCADA, register changes and breakdowns, and communicate with plant managers.
• Prepare and analyse daily, weekly and monthly production reports, create work notifications in SAP and maintain operation books.
• Perform grid operator instructions, hourly forecasting and support emergency call handling.
• Troubleshoot sensors, relays and other SCADA‑connected devices, and follow cyber‑security and change‑management procedures.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams, attend daily production meetings and contribute to strategies for improving generation and availability.

Required profile

• University degree in an engineering discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with IT & OT systems, preferably SCADA remote monitoring and control.
• Awareness of occupational health and safety and ability to work in a team‑oriented environment.
