About the role

We are looking for a Purchasing Specialist to manage procurement activities for three subsidiary companies in Baku. The role involves sourcing equipment, spare parts, tools, services and other consumables while ensuring compliance with group purchasing policies.

Key responsibilities

• Organise annual purchases up to 150,000 AZN per subsidiary, from request to delivery.
• Conduct initial and repeat supplier evaluations.
• Ensure timely hand‑over of procurement documents to the Finance department for month‑end closing.
• Prepare and execute purchase requisitions accurately and economically.
• Analyse offers on quality, price, delivery time and terms to select the most cost‑effective supplier.
• Perform procurement and logistics tasks in line with waste‑management procedures.
• Negotiate commercial terms with suppliers.
• Prepare supplier selection forms and purchase orders for each subsidiary.
• Coordinate deliveries according to operational needs.
• Guarantee document compliance with ISO 9001 standards and support annual audits.
• Act according to emergency plans in case of fire, earthquake, flood or strong wind.

Required profile

• Higher education in economics, management or finance.
• 2–3 years of procurement experience, preferably multi‑sector.
• Excellent command of MS Office.
• Excellent English language proficiency.
• CIPS certification is a plus.
