Regional Sales Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead our pharmaceutical sales operations in Azerbaijan. The role focuses on driving sustainable growth, managing the field team, and optimizing promotional activities across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory sales and business plans aligned with company objectives and targets.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities and regional performance to identify new opportunities.
• Allocate promotional budgets and resources to ensure optimal territory coverage.
• Lead, coach and motivate Medical Representatives, conducting regular field visits and joint customer calls.
• Evaluate employee performance, provide feedback and conduct formal reviews.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, healthcare professionals and KOLs.
• Support strategic negotiations and partnership initiatives to drive regional growth.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to implement campaigns and educational programs.
• Monitor and report on sales performance, preparing regular business reviews.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry codes and pharmacovigilance requirements.

Required profile

• Degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience selling pharmaceutical products.
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyse data, make decisive actions and work effectively in a team.
• In‑depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and industry regulations.
