Plumber – Offshore Vessel (28/28 Rotation)

About the role

Saipem is seeking an experienced Plumber to work on an offshore construction vessel supporting oil & gas projects. The role involves maintaining and repairing the vessel’s plumbing systems while adhering to strict safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform repairs, installations and replacements on vessel plumbing systems safely and efficiently.
• Prepare and join pipe elements using hand and power tools or machines, applying appropriate fittings.
• Troubleshoot plumbing systems, identify leaks and resolve issues.
• Read and interpret plumbing system layout drawings.
• Maintain a clean work site and wear required PPE.
• Participate in toolbox talks and Job Safety Analysis meetings.
• Report to the 2nd Engineer and follow HSEQ policies.

Required profile

• Technical degree.
• 3‑5 years of similar experience on a construction vessel in the oil & gas industry.
• Fluent in Azerbaijani and good English.
• Ability to apply and promote safety practices and use the Permit to Work system.

Required skills

• Plumbing system installation and repair on vessels.
• Troubleshooting of vessel plumbing systems.
• Reading and interpreting plumbing layout drawings.
• Use of hand and power tools for pipe joining.
