Junior Planning Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Planning Engineer to join our oil and gas project team. The role focuses on establishing and managing the planning and progress‑control system to support the Project Manager in delivering projects on schedule and within contractual requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update and maintain project schedules for engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction and commissioning phases, collecting actual data and forecasting deviations.
• Monitor progress measurement systems, identify schedule deviations early, perform time‑impact analysis and report corrective actions to the Project Manager.
• Create and maintain 90‑day look‑ahead schedules, weekly and monthly reports, and support contract change and claim processes.

Required profile

• Higher education degree related to engineering or project management.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in planning or project control within the oil and gas industry.
• Fluent in English and Azerbaijani.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CPM networking logic and network schedule updates.
• Strong schedule management and progress measurement capabilities.
• Ability to conduct time‑impact analysis for contract changes and claims.
