Junior Planning Engineer

About the role

Saipem is seeking a Junior Planning Engineer to support project control activities across engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction and commissioning phases. The role will work closely with the Project Control Manager and Lead Planning Engineer to monitor schedule performance and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and analyse schedule deviations, estimate time impact and monitor corrective actions.
• Maintain and update project schedules, collect actual data, and produce 90‑day look‑ahead plans.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for internal stakeholders and the client.
• Support contract change and claim processes by providing time‑impact analyses.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar project control role within the oil and gas industry.
• Fluent in English and Azerbaijani.

Required skills

• Knowledge of CPM networking logic and ability to update network schedules.
• Proficiency with project control and scheduling IT systems.
