IT Technical Specialist

About the role

Saipem is seeking an IT Technical Specialist to provide day‑to‑day technical support and administration of its ICT infrastructure. The role involves maintaining hardware, software and service applications for offshore and on‑shore operations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver timely technical support, troubleshooting and repairs for hardware and software issues.
• Perform regular maintenance, install cables, configure equipment and document system settings.
• Run diagnostics, use test equipment to locate problems and apply temporary fixes to maintain security and functionality.
• Communicate effectively with end users and management while adhering to HSEQ policies.
• Execute additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Higher technical education.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar IT support role.
• Fluent in Azerbaijani and English.
• Flexibility to work in office, remote base facilities and offshore environments.

Required skills

• Help Desk function.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory.
