IT Controls Associate – Risk Assurance

About the role

As an IT Controls Associate in the Risk Assurance department, you will support clients in evaluating and strengthening their IT control environments. You will work within PwC's digital assurance practice, helping organisations build trust in their technology and comply with relevant regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Review and evaluate client IT controls and processes as part of assurance and consulting projects.
• Conduct thorough assessments of IT environments, focusing on applications, operating systems, and databases.
• Identify and communicate audit findings to senior management and clients.
• Participate in projects related to information security, cybersecurity, and IT controls testing.
• Assist clients in enhancing their IT risk management and internal control activities.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Informatics, IT, or a related field.
• Previous experience with IT controls and processes (candidates without experience but eager to develop are also considered).
• Good understanding of IT infrastructure fundamentals, including networks and databases.
• Understanding of information security risks and controls.
• Fluency in Azerbaijani and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and networking abilities.
