Field Specialist – Fishing & Re‑entry

About the role

The Field Specialist – Fishing & Re‑entry supports Weatherford’s offshore operations by applying proven techniques to execute complex fishing and well‑intervention tasks. Acting as the primary client interface on well sites, the role ensures safe, efficient service delivery while providing technical guidance to junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Meet customers for technical and commercial discussions.
• Prepare quotations based on customer requests.
• Assist the Operations Manager with running procedures and drawings.
• Control and supervise equipment load‑outs as required.
• Execute fishing, re‑entry, and related jobs as the Field Engineer on day or night shifts.
• Prepare detailed job reports capturing lessons learned after each operation.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of offshore fishing and intervention experience.
• Hands‑on experience with down‑hole tool running, plugs, wellbore cleaning tools, cement retainers and RTTS packers.
• Familiarity with hydraulics and Torque‑and‑Drag analysis software (preferred).
• Advanced English proficiency.
• PC proficiency, including MS Office.
• Legal authorization to work in Azerbaijan.
