Crew Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The Crew Logistics Coordinator ensures that offshore vessel crews are properly manned, trained, and documented for safe and efficient operations. Working from Saipem’s base office, the role coordinates personnel movements, certifications, and documentation for barge and vessel assignments.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all department personnel are onboarded on offshore barges/vessels according to required manning levels.
• Liaise with other departments to cascade correct information and maintain training matrices.
• Verify that all trainings and documentation are in place before travel to the work site.
• Review and issue weekly offshore vessel personnel matrices (working and time‑off schedules).
• Coordinate with the Training function to maintain crew competency records and arrange required trainings.
• Track crew certification validity and perform authenticity checks with training providers.
• Prepare personnel for offshore mobilization, securing passports, work permits, visas and other clearance documents.
• Manage crew movements on‑shore and offshore, including scheduling of crew boats and helicopters.
• Maintain hard and soft copies of Vessel CA&A system documents for inspection.
• Support project functions to facilitate crew changes and respond quickly to last‑minute logistics adjustments.
• Collect and report monthly crew movement and man‑hours data.

Required profile

• Higher education (university degree).
• Minimum 2–3 years experience administering offshore personnel on EPCI projects, primarily vessel fleet.
• Fluent in English and Azerbaijani.
• Proficient with standard PC software, especially MS Office.
