Corporate Finance Analyst

About the role

British American Tobacco Azerbaijan is seeking a motivated Corporate Finance Analyst to join its finance team in Baku. You will support key financial processes such as forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and accounts receivable, ensuring accurate and timely information for business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive the monthly forecasting process and deliver precise actuals reporting.
• Manage overhead and CAPEX budgets, preparing monthly analyses and comprehensive reports for budget owners.
• Oversee accounts receivable operations, conduct credit analysis and handle customer bank guarantees to mitigate risk.
• Support month‑end close by validating financial data, performing variance analysis and contributing to reporting.
• Respond promptly to ad‑hoc financial requests, providing reliable data for dynamic business needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field.
• 1.5–2 years of finance/accounting experience, preferably in FMCG.
• Upper‑intermediate proficiency in English.
• Ability to handle confidential information and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong team player with good time‑management skills.
