Chef de Partie – Luxury Hotel Kitchen

About the role

The Ritz-Carlton is seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join its culinary team in Baku. You will be responsible for preparing special meals, maintaining food quality, and supporting the kitchen during busy periods while upholding the brand's Gold Standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare special meals and substitute items according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters and manage food thawing processes.
• Maintain food logs, ensure proper portioning, arrangement, and garnish of dishes.
• Monitor food quality and quantity, communicate assistance needs, and inform the Chef of excess items for daily specials.
• Inform service staff of menu specials and out‑of‑stock items.
• Follow all safety, security, and hygiene policies; report maintenance needs and unsafe conditions.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, and employee coaching as needed.
• Perform physical duties such as standing for extended periods and lifting objects up to 25 lb.

Required profile

• Technical, trade, or vocational school degree in culinary arts or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant kitchen experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
