Automotive Porter

About the role

The Automotive Porter supports the collision and glass service teams by preparing and cleaning customer vehicles before and after repairs. This position ensures the shop, office, and surrounding grounds remain tidy and safe, contributing to a professional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Pre‑wash customer vehicles before repairs begin.
• Perform exterior and interior cleaning of vehicles after repairs are completed.
• Transport vehicles to sub‑let locations as needed.
• Maintain daily housekeeping of office areas: empty garbage, clean floors, dust countertops, and organize workspaces.
• Maintain daily housekeeping of production areas: empty waste cans, sweep floors, dispose of unwanted parts, and store tools correctly.
• Keep parking lots and grounds orderly, including shoveling sidewalks when required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Automotive experience preferred.
• Clear close vision and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and perform physical tasks such as walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, and crawling.
