Topographer – Field Survey & Mapping

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Topographer to support field and office surveying activities. You will work on construction, mining and engineering projects, collecting accurate geodetic data and assisting in the preparation of topographic plans and maps.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior topographers and geodesy specialists in field and camera work.
• Participate in on‑site measurements and help gather measurement results.
• Operate GPS, electronic theodolite and other surveying equipment correctly.
• Perform initial processing of measurement data, systematise and record information.
• Contribute to the creation and updating of topographic plans, maps and schematics.
• Collect and organise topographic and geodetic data required for project execution.
• Ensure compliance with technical requirements and safety instructions during field work.
• Support proper use, maintenance and registration of geodetic equipment.
• Take part in surveying tasks for construction, mining and engineering projects.
• Complete additional assignments from the senior topographer on time and accurately.

Required profile

• Higher education in topography, geodesy, geology, mining engineering or a related field.
• Basic theoretical knowledge of geodetic measurement methods and topographic work.
• Interest in learning to operate GPS, electronic theodolite, laser scanners and drone technologies.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Team‑oriented attitude and eagerness to develop professionally.
