Tendering Advisor – Pressure Pumping

About the role

Baker Hughes is seeking a Tendering Advisor specialized in pressure pumping to join its commercial team. Reporting to the Segment Commercial Operations Leader, you will help shape and execute the commercial strategy for assigned regions, ensuring the delivery of optimal technical and commercial solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and submit tender proposals, negotiating with customers where required.
• Maintain price integrity and mitigate commercial risk throughout the inquiry‑to‑order (ITO) process.
• Gather capacity, costing and pricing inputs to formulate winning tender strategies.
• Validate risk‑reward balances, considering terms, technical risks, margins and payment security.
• Drive competitive pricing within predefined contract frameworks, with limited latitude to deviate.
• Promote Baker Hughes value propositions to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with Global PL Headquarters, Global OFSE HQ, regional sales teams and commercial support functions.
• Uphold governance of commercial processes, policies and procedures, and support their evolution.

Required profile

• Strong commercial acumen with a focus on profitable revenue growth.
• Thorough technical knowledge of pressure pumping products and their operating environments.
• Ability to assess and balance technical and commercial risks.
• Experience in developing proposals and managing tender processes.
• Excellent collaboration skills across global and regional teams.
