Technical Consultant - Infrastructure Solutions

About the role

Lenovo is seeking a trusted Technical Consultant to guide customers and sales teams through the full sales cycle, from early discussions to final solution design. You will translate complex customer requirements into scalable, commercially viable infrastructure architectures that focus on business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Own technical solutioning for complex infrastructure opportunities across discovery, sizing, architecture, proposal and deal support.
• Translate customer needs into scalable designs covering compute, storage, networking and AI/HPC workloads.
• Conduct product demonstrations, proofs of concept and technical presentations.
• Design and size solutions based on workload performance and commercial constraints.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers, engaging at expert and CIO levels.
• Partner with Sales, Product and Services teams to build margin‑accretive solutions.
• Drive technical differentiation versus competition in strategic deals.
• Enable partners and internal teams on solution design, sizing tools and best practices.
• Support key bids, RFP responses and large opportunities with technical expertise.
• Contribute to shared sales targets through solution wins and accurate pipeline forecasting.

Required profile

• Strong experience in infrastructure (servers, storage, networking) with exposure to HPC/AI or high‑performance workloads.
• Proven track record in pre‑sales, solution consulting or technical advisory roles.
• Solid capability in solution sizing and architecture design, including workload analysis and TCO considerations.
• Ability to simplify complex technical topics for diverse audiences.
• Extensive customer‑facing experience and confidence in senior‑level discussions.
