Senior Information Security Solutions Engineer

About the role

The role is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company’s Information Security Management System (ISMS) in alignment with international standards, while ensuring security requirements are embedded across projects and business domains.

Key responsibilities

• Support establishment, implementation and continuous improvement of the ISMS in line with international standards.
• Ensure access management processes align with policies, enforce authorizations and conduct regular access reviews using IAM solutions such as SSO, Active Directory and Entra ID.
• Collaborate with project teams to embed security requirements throughout project lifecycles across IT, Data, Finance, SCM, Legal and other domains.
• Handle service‑desk requests related to information security, optimise workflows and provide risk‑based guidance.
• Oversee third‑party security obligations, define and verify vendor requirements.
• Support security and technology risk management by identifying and documenting observed risks.
• Provide user support on security matters and promote awareness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, IT or related field.
• Familiarity with standards and frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27701, PCI‑DSS, GDPR, NIST, COBIT and ITIL.
• Understanding of AI system workflows and associated security considerations.
• Strong analytical, decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication in Azerbaijani and English; Russian a plus.

• Identity and Access Management (Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, SSO).
• Windows, Linux and Unix server administration.
• Network technologies – firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs, proxy services.
• Database querying – SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL.
• Scripting/automation – Python, Bash, PowerShell.
• Cloud security platforms – Azure Security, AWS Security, Google Cloud Security.
