Lead Civil/Structural & Architecture Engineer

About the role

Worley is seeking a Lead Civil/Structural & Architecture Engineer to design, analyze and deliver safe, durable and efficient structures for industrial facilities, buildings and infrastructure projects. The role involves leading multidisciplinary teams and ensuring compliance with international and local standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for steel, concrete and composite structures.
• Prepare structural drawings, calculations and specifications.
• Conduct load assessments, seismic studies and risk evaluations.
• Review contractor submissions and provide technical guidance during construction.
• Ensure compliance with international codes such as ACI, AISC and Eurocode.
• Develop civil engineering designs for foundations, roads, drainage and site development.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications and reports.
• Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with codes and standards.
• Collaborate with contractors, architects and other engineers to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• 15+ years of experience in structural design and analysis.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, design standards and local building codes.
• Excellent communication and project management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in structural analysis software: SAP2000, STAAD PRO, STAAD Foundation Advanced, SACS, SESAM.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for design drafting.
• Knowledge of international codes (ACI, AISC, Eurocode) and local Azerbaijani standards.
