Experienced Consultant – Cyber Governance

About the role

As an Experienced Consultant in the Cyber Governance Team, you will support Deloitte’s Technology & Transformation practice in Azerbaijan and Georgia, helping high‑profile clients improve their cyber security posture and align IT controls with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Assess cyber security management practices, processes and organisational resources.
• Develop and implement IT strategies and programmes to enhance reliability and security of critical assets.
• Conduct IT audits, including IT due diligence, CMMI assessments and compliance audits.
• Define, implement and maintain client security and IT policies and procedures.
• Advise client leadership on cybersecurity and IT status reports.
• Design and deliver cyber and IT management training and security‑awareness workshops.
• Participate in the evaluation, testing and selection of new security products and technologies.
• Develop business continuity and disaster recovery plans for potential cyber crises.
• Help clients identify, validate and assess the impact of information assets on business goals.
• Interpret and apply local cyber and IT laws and regulations to client practices.
• Prepare and present cyber and IT briefings to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Higher education in Computer Science, Information Systems Administration or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in cyber governance, IT audit, risk management or a comparable area.
• Strong client‑service orientation and ability to work under the supervision of senior managers.
