Entry Level Tax Advisory Consultant

About the role

As an Entry Level Tax Advisory Consultant at Deloitte Azerbaijan you will join a global professional services firm and work closely with managers, directors and partners on a variety of tax engagements for both local and international clients. The position offers on‑the‑job learning tailored to your interests while you develop the technical expertise needed to become a trusted tax professional.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tax advice on corporate, indirect, oil‑and‑gas, M&A and international tax structuring.
• Prepare tax policy documents and strategy papers for clients.
• Review tax liabilities of major national and international companies operating in Azerbaijan.
• Conduct tax due‑diligence reviews for corporate transactions.
• Support audit projects with tax‑related analysis.
• Assist clients in complying with legislative requirements and achieving business objectives.

Required profile

• University degree in Law, Economics, Finance or Accounting with strong academic results.
• Advanced written and spoken proficiency in Azerbaijani and English.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Creative mindset with capacity to develop new ideas and approaches.
• Client‑service orientation and commitment to Deloitte’s purpose.
• Analytical problem‑solving skills and high self‑motivation.
• Knowledge of Azerbaijan tax legislation and accounting standards is an asset.
