Compliance Officer

About the role

The Compliance Officer will oversee all compliance activities, ensuring alignment with local laws, regulations, and industry best practices. This role works closely with internal teams, auditors, and senior management to safeguard the organization’s legal and regulatory standing.

Key responsibilities

• Review and update the Compliance Policy and Procedures manual in line with current laws and circulars.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance and legal risks for new products, services, and marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors.
• Conduct training sessions on compliance, anti‑money laundering, and anti‑bribery topics.
• Review legal documents and third‑party contracts (including KYC and account opening) for regulatory compliance.
• Monitor trading activities, detect breaches, and oversee corrective actions.
• Prepare regular reports for senior management and the board of directors on legal and compliance matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance, preferably within the financial markets sector.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
