Media Manager

About the role

The Media Manager is responsible for developing and executing integrated media strategies that drive brand growth, consumer engagement and continuous improvement of media efficiency. Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager, the role works closely with creative agencies, media agencies, digital teams and commercial stakeholders to ensure optimal investment across traditional, digital, social, retail and emerging platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual media and communication planning, ensuring the most effective communication mix for each brand.
• Develop, implement and maintain interactive marketing strategies, aligning budgets with key stakeholders and localising global initiatives.
• Negotiate long‑term agreements with media channels, benchmark performance and build strong supplier relationships to achieve buying objectives.
• Own planning, allocation and optimisation of media investments, managing budgets, tracking payments and ensuring compliance with financial governance.
• Initiate media‑related research and provide market intelligence to enhance decision‑making.
• Build internal media capabilities through training, competitive intelligence and knowledge sharing.
• Manage agency performance, day‑to‑day interactions and drive agency development and capacity building.

Required profile

• Proven experience in media planning, buying and budget management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and evaluate agency relationships.
• Strong understanding of media investment optimisation and ROI measurement.
• Experience developing interactive marketing strategies and aligning them with brand objectives.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with creative, digital and commercial teams.
