Offshore Doctor – Emergency Medicine Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced offshore Doctor to provide comprehensive medical coverage for employees working in remote offshore environments. The role involves direct collaboration with the Company Health Coordinator to ensure rapid emergency response, health monitoring, and preventive care.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Health Coordinator to manage the medical emergency chain.
• Deliver continuous health assessment, monitoring, and protection for all personnel.
• Maintain accurate medical records, reports, and electronic database entries via Program GIPSI.
• Conduct hygiene and sanitary inspections, medical trainings, and alcohol/drug testing.
• Manage medical inventories, medicines, consumables, and equipment supplies.
• Provide 24‑hour emergency medical support during shifts.
• Oversee medical waste disposal in compliance with local regulations.
• Extend health management services to subcontractor employees and lead first‑aid teams.

Required profile

• Doctor’s diploma from Azerbaijan Medical University.
• Minimum 2 years experience in emergency medicine (reanimation, ambulance service or ICU).
• At least 3 years experience on offshore projects.
• Fluent in English and Azerbaijani; Russian preferred.
• Azerbaijan State Doctor’s license.
• Valid ACLS, ATLS and BLS certifications.
