Repair Center Engineer

About the role

The Repair Center Engineer will diagnose, analyse and resolve technical issues affecting SICPA customers and internal operations. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, repair, testing and calibration of SICPA equipment while contributing to product reliability and repair centre optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, analyse and resolve technical issues on SICPA products and equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and calibration activities.
• Manage the Return Material Authorisation (RMA) process in SAP from receipt to final resolution.
• Conduct incoming inspections, functional testing and failure analysis of returned equipment.
• Coordinate with suppliers for repairs, replacements and technical investigations.
• Execute root‑cause analysis using Pareto and 8D methodologies and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, repair records and work instructions.
• Collaborate with global repair centres, engineering teams and operational stakeholders to improve product quality and service efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in equipment maintenance, repair engineering or product support.
• Strong understanding of electrical, electronic and mechanical systems, including instrumentation and industrial equipment.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and perform root‑cause analysis.
