Mechanical & Piping Estimator – EPC Oil & Gas

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical & Piping Estimator to support EPC projects in the oil & gas sector. The role involves preparing accurate cost estimates, conducting site surveys, and developing preliminary engineering layouts for both brownfield and greenfield assignments.

Key responsibilities

• Review Invitations to Tender, specifications, drawings, BOQs and client documentation to define full project scope.
• Conduct brownfield site surveys, verify existing facilities, and collect field data for tender validation.
• Develop preliminary mechanical and piping engineering concepts to support tender submissions.
• Prepare material take‑offs and labor estimates using recognized estimating methodologies.
• Produce competitive, technically compliant cost estimates within tender deadlines.
• Support continuous improvement of estimating systems, databases and productivity norms.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of mechanical and piping estimating experience on EPC oil & gas projects.
• Proven experience with both brownfield and greenfield projects, including shutdown and tie‑in work.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Familiarity with major oil & gas clients such as BP, SOCAR, ADNOC, Shell or TotalEnergies is advantageous.
