Maintenance and Assurance Officer

About the role

Saipem is seeking a Maintenance and Assurance Officer to support the Vessel Management Team on offshore assets. The role involves clerical support, documentation management, and technical assistance for maintenance activities while ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide office and clerical support to the local Vessel Management Team, including site documentation updates.
• Maintain and update digital asset tools such as CMMS, MOCA, DMF and ATR.
• Monitor maintenance work orders, damage reports and failure registers, addressing critical issues promptly.
• Assist in the preparation and tracking of Management of Change registers and ensure timely close‑outs.
• Manage timesheets, material requests (Excel), and document uploads to the Document Management System.
• Support technical crew with maintenance needs, including spare parts issuance and marine rigging certificates.

Required profile

• High‑level education (e.g., engineering degree).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering or a related discipline, preferably in oil & gas.
• Fluent English and Azerbaijani.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
• Experience using MOCA, DMF and ATR tools.
• Advanced Excel for material request creation and reporting.
• Document Management System usage and site portal updates.
• Knowledge of asset maintenance techniques and control equipment troubleshooting.
