Senior Structural Designer – Offshore Platforms (Azerbaijan)

About the role

Worley is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Designer to develop detailed designs for offshore platforms, subsea structures, and floating units. The role is open to Azerbaijan nationals and involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver high‑quality, code‑compliant solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and produce detailed structural design drawings and 3D models for offshore platforms, subsea structures, and floating units.
• Ensure all design deliverables comply with industry codes and standards such as API, ISO, DNV, and ABS.
• Translate engineering calculations and analysis into accurate design documentation and fabrication drawings.
• Prepare material take‑offs and support fabrication processes for offshore structures.
• Conduct design reviews, clash detection, and coordinate integration with piping, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
• Provide design clarifications and modifications to offshore installation teams as required.
• Maintain design quality and consistency across multiple projects and coordinate with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• 8–10 years of offshore structural design experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and PDMS/E3D for 3D modeling.
• Strong understanding of fabrication processes and offshore construction.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to lead design teams.
