Restaurant Manager

About the role

Accor is looking for a full-time Restaurant Manager in Baku. The role covers monitoring restaurant operations, leading the team and delivering professional, friendly service while keeping the department within budget and meeting quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor operations through customer satisfaction reviews and financial reports, and lead the team to deliver excellent service.
• Develop and run action plans for employee and guest satisfaction, financial indicators and departmental meetings.
• Plan and organise new menu items, take part in menu design and advise on drinks.
• Control costs, budget and the maintenance of equipment and furniture.
• Inspect cleanliness, enforce food safety standards (LGA, HACCP), FIFO and Micros cart procedures, and conduct shift handovers.
• Provide expert advice to guests, handle complaints and keep the department's reputation high.
• Review monthly financial results, support forecasting and ensure staff training and attendance schedules are followed.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar leadership role in hospitality.
• Strong leadership, team management and customer service skills.
• Fluent Azerbaijani, English and Russian.
• Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene and health and safety requirements.

Required skills

• Understanding of restaurant finances, budgeting, revenue management and cost control.
• Proficiency in restaurant management software and Microsoft Office.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
