Project Control Manager

About the role

The Project Control Manager will support the Project Manager throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring the project stays within budget, schedule and risk parameters. This role is critical for integrating cost control, scheduling and risk management functions in an oil and gas transportation and installation environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the project control system, including WBS, risk and opportunity management plan, master schedule, control budget and cash flow.
• Coordinate cost control, scheduling and risk management activities to maintain alignment with project baselines.
• Supervise the coherence between cost control and scheduling systems and ensure accurate progress measurement.
• Define project control requirements for subcontractors and vendors and integrate them into bid proposals.
• Set up and manage the document control system, interfacing with administration, procurement, engineering and ICT.
• Continuously monitor project performance, update forecasts and report status against baselines.

Required profile

• Higher education degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 5 years of project control experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably in Transportation & Installation.
• Fluent in English and Azerbaijani.
